General Hospital's Ronnie Marmo comes to Michigan June 12-13

FARMINGTON HILLS, MI. – The Ronnie Marmo Fan Weekend is scheduled for June 12-13 with two special events featuring General Hospital’s versatile and popular actor.

This exciting two-day event begins Saturday, June 12, with his one-man show, “Lenny’s Back (And Boy Is He Pissed).” In a riveting performance, Marmo brings to life the late Lenny Bruce and recreates his life, his times and his thoughts. Tickets for this tour-de-force, which include a VIP reception with Ronnie, are $75/person or $130/pair for the 7:30 p.m. show. 

At 1 p.m. Sunday, June 13, there will be a special presentation of the feature film, West of Brooklyn. Marmo is the film's writer and producer, in addition to taking on a starring role. The cast includes Natalia Livingston and Joe Mantegna. The show, which has also had exclusive showings in Los Angeles and New Jersey, will include a Q&A session and a meet-and-greet with Marmo. Tickets are just $25.

The Fan Weekend, sponsored by LA Productions of Farmington Hills, a women-owned business, marks the first solo appearance in Michigan for Marmo. He is currently best known for his role as good cop “Ronnie Domestico” on ABC’s hit daytime drama. Originally from Brooklyn, this New Jersey native spent a year as “Tony” in the national tour of Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding. He has been featured in more than 15 films including Deuces Wild, Limbo Lounge and Pizza with Bullets.

Marmo is also the co-founder and artistic director for Theatre 68 (ask him how the name came about when you see him) in Los Angeles. Not one to rest on his laurels, he is one of the hardest working actors today – and was recently recognized in March with the Robert Pastorelli Rising Star Award.

Both events will be held at Genitti’s at 108 East Main Street, Northville. Tickets are extremely limited and can be purchased online at www.EventsByLAProductions.com/blog. Proceeds will benefit Theatre 68 and The Desi Geestman Foundation.
