St. Joseph Mercy Oakland (SJMO) has opened its new SJMO Urgent Care – Birmingham, at 2110 E. Maple Rd.
Board-certified and board-eligible physicians provide treatment for any urgent health care need, including cuts, sprains, fevers, earaches, sore throats, infections, minor asthma-related symptoms and rashes. Additional health care services include vaccines, lab tests, radiology procedures, sports and school physicals, pregnancy testing and employee health services.
“This new facility allows us to expand our excellence in patient care to a community that can benefit from the expertise of St. Joe’s physicians,” said Jack Weiner, SJMO President and CEO.
Hours are 7 a.m. to midnight seven days a week. The phone number is 248-816-3951. SJMO also operates urgent care centers in Lake Orion at 1375 S. Lapeer Rd., open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and in Waterford at 5800 Highland Rd., open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week.
