The Michigan Women’s Historical Center is accepting applications from Michigan women artists and women's groups for art exhibits to be displayed in the Belen Gallery in 2012.
To be considered for selection, an artist must submit an art exhibit application form, resume, at least six examples of her work, and a list of works to be displayed in the proposed exhibit with dimensions. The form can be downloaded at the Historical Center's website.
From the applications, the Art Exhibit Committee will select four individual artists or artist groups to exhibit in the gallery each year. Only the works of Michigan women will be accepted for display. Additional selection considerations are described in the Art Exhibit Policies document attached to the application.
