Vista Maria’s Celebrating Women, held Thursday, May 5 in Dearborn Heights, is the 12th annual event to commemorate the accomplishments of extraordinary business women who have overcome significant challenges on their road to success and Vista Maria girls who are excelling in their recovery and education programs.
This year, Celebrating Women will be recognizing three outstanding women:
- Jennifer Baird-President and CEO of Accio Energy, Inc.
- Lydia Gutierrez-President and CEO of Hacienda Mexican Foods, LLC
- Colleen Haley-President of Yazaki North America, Inc.
The event will include a VIP networking reception for honorees, corporate sponsors and patron guests, and a general guest reception along with dinner, silent auction, and award ceremony to honor the women of achievement.
The patron reception begins at 4:30 p.m., general guest reception begins at 5 p.m. Dinner will begin following the receptions at 6 p.m., on Vista Maria's campus, 20651 West Warren Ave., Dearborn Heights.
General seating is $150 and patron seating is $275 per person. Reserve a Friends Table for 8 for $1,500 per table. All proceeds benefit more than 1,000 abused and neglected children and families served by Vista Maria each year.
Every year, thousands of vulnerable children and families in Southeast Michigan are faced with poverty, abuse and neglect. Vista Maria’s vision is to create a Village of Hope to end these multi-generational patterns by providing lasting change, leading to healthy and economically sustainable communities. The support gained from Celebrating Women is, in part, helping to lay the foundation for the Village of Hope.
Please RSVP to this event by April 22, 2011. To RSVP please contact Mary Vogt at 313-271-3050 ext. 190 or at mvogt@vistamaria.org.
