Members of the Oakland County Board of Commissioners support the 9th Annual Bid & Brunch event which will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 in the City of Southfield Pavilion, located at 26000 Evergreen Road. The program is scheduled from 10 a.m-3:30 p.m.
The Annual Bid & Brunch procurement match-making program provides small-to-midsize, minority and women-owned businesses with the opportunity to match their businesses services with governmental agencies. Participants attending the event will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with corporate, federal, state, county, municipal and institutional purchasing departments.
Speakers for this year’s event, include business owners who have successfully diversified their companies, along with export panelists Moses Olaniran and Richard Corson, Director of the Pontiac U.S. Export Assistance Center. Welcoming and open remarks will be given by Local 4 morning correspondent Paula Tutman, Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson, and others.
Participants will learn about potential business opportunities and have great networking options at the event. There is a $75 registration fee.
