Oakland County commissioners commemorate Women's Equality Day

All 24 Oakland County Commissioners recently signed a declaration commemorating passage of the 19th Amendment, which gave women the constitutional right to vote. This important legislation was signed into law 90 years ago, on August 26, 1920. The anniversary is officially recognized as Women's Equality Day, celebrated across the nation.
