A little Michigan women's history

At today's Women's Equality Day reception for candidates and supporters of The White House Project, Fabius Township resident Dennis Bradley shared a piece of women's history that fit the occasion like a glove. While rustling through some old books stored at Fabius Township Hall, Bradley found a registry of women who trudged through the February snows to sign up to vote.

In 1919.

Before the 19th Amendment gave women the right to vote.
